Does anyone know if I bought a sealed Russian copy of Guild Wars would it allow me to create character names and guild names using Russian characters ?

I guess the same applies to buying a sealed copy of a Korean, Chinese, or Japanese copy of Guild Wars.

I assume if this would work then you can also use the online keyboard to text tools from a website instead of needing to have a physical keyboard like the old school days.

So, who knows for sure

No, it surely will not, the only thing you're able to do with Russian alphabet is to use it in chat.
